Työelämäekskursio Turkuun

Tervetuloa mukaan Iltakoulu ry:n vuoden ensimmäiselle työelämäekskursiolle Turkuun maanantaina 30.3.! Ekskursiolla vierailemme kolmessa mielenkiintoisessa työelämäkohteessa. 🤩

Näistä ensimmäinen on Centrum Balticum, joka toimii esimerkiksi EU:n Itämeri-strategian sekä Itämeren alueen hankeyhteistöiden keskiössä. Toisena esittelyssä on Turun Eurooppa-foorumi, jossa tutustumme Eurooppa teemoihin ja tapahtuman järjestämisen maailmaan.

Kolmantena kohteena on Varsinais-Suomen liitto, jossa kuulemme liiton toiminnasta. Varsinais-Suomen liitossa vastataan maakunnan kehittämisestä ja siellä tehdään yhteistyötä esim. ministeriöiden kanssa sekä kansainvälisesti. Heiltä löytyy mielenkiintoisia työtehtäviä esim. Aluekehittämisen, edunvalvonnan ja erilaisten projektien parissa.

Lähtö exculle tapahtuu klo 9.10 Tampereen juna-asemalta. Yhteiskyyditykseen osallistuminen on maksullista ja junaliput maksavat arvion mukaan enintään 16 euroa. Ekskursion vastaava vastaa junalippujen hankinnasta. Voit myös halutessasi saapua paikalle omalla kyydillä.

Ilmoittautuminen Forms lomakkeella aukeaa tiistaina 10.3. ja on auki 14.3. keskiyöhön saakka. Exculla on tilaa 20 henkilölle ja halukkaiden määrän ylittyessä osallistujat arvotaan. Formsilla ilmoittautuminen on sitovaa, sillä junaliput hankitaan vastausten mukaan. Paluumatkat ovat täysin osallistujien omalla vastuulla. Ilmoittaudu ekskursiolle täältä.

Illalla on myös luvassa yhteistä ohjelmaa Turun P-klubin kanssa, joten halutessasi voit varautua jäämään yöksi Turkuun. Tästä tapahtumasta lisää tietoa pian! 😁

9.10 – 10.50 Junamatka Turkuun
11.30 – 13.00 Centrum Balticum ja omakustanteinen lounas opiskelijaravintolassa esittelyn yhteydessä
13.30 – 14.30 Turun Eurooppa-foorumi
n. 15.15 – 16.15 Varsinais-Suomen liitto
n. 18.30 eteenpäin iltaohjelmaa P-klubin kanssa, ajankohta tarkentuu myöhemmin.

Welcome to Iltakoulu ry’s first career excursion of the year, taking place in Turku on Monday March 30th! During the excursion, we will visit three interesting career destinations. 🤩

The first one will be Centrum Balticum, an organisation that plays a key role in EU strategy for the Baltic Sea Region as well as in various cooperation projects around the Baltic Sea. Our second visit will be to the Turku Europe Forum, where we will hear about fascinating career opportunities and the organization of an event itself.

The third destination will be the Regional Council of Southwest Finland, where we will learn about the council’s activities. The Regional Council works with for instance ministries and international partners. The Regional Council also has interesting positions in areas such as regional development, advocacy and different projects.

The joined commute to Turku will depart at 9.10am from Tampere Railway Station. The participants will cover their own travel costs and the train tickets will cost 16 euros at maximum by estimate. You may also choose to arrive on your own.

Registration opens on Tuesday, March 10th and will be open until midnight March 14th. There is space for 20 participants in the excursion and the participants will be chosen by lottery if necessary. Registration is binding, as the train tickets will be purchased based on the responses. Register to the excursion here.

In the evening we will have a get-together organised by P-klubi, so you may prepare to stay and spend the night in Turku if you wish. More information about this later! 😁

9.10 – 10.50 Train ride to Turku
11.30 – 13.00 Centrum Balticum and lunch at a student restaurant (at your own expense)
13.30 – 14.30 Turku Europe Forum
approx. 15.15 – 16.15 the Regional Council of Southwest Finland
approx. 18.30 evening get-together with P-klubi
