Perinteinen harkkakyykkä tulee taas! Ovatko kyykkätaitosi päässeet loman aikana ruostumaan ja tulevat Akateemisen kyykän MM-kisat koputtelevat jo ovella? Etkö ole ikinä pelannut kyykkää ja haluaisit päästä kokeilemaan? Tekeekö mieli treenailla kannatushuutoja lämpimän mehun kera? Kerää siis joukkueesi ja kaverit kasaan ja kipitä torille pelailemaan!

Vaikka ilmat ovat olleet kylmiä niin mieltä torilla lämmittää lämmin mehu – Suomen Ekonomien tarjoamia makkaroita unohtamatta. Kaiken tasoiset pelaajat ovat erittäin tervetulleita pelaamaan ja nauttimaan tunnelmasta yhdessä Boomin ja Staabin kanssa, tiedossa on rentoja pelejä ja yhdessä harjoittelua! Mukaan tarvitset vain positiivisen ja rennon urheiluhenkisen kyykkämielen! Illan aikana otetaan myös leikkimielisesti mittaa IK:n kyykän MM-edustusjoukkueesta.

Häh, siis mikä ihmeen kyykkä?

Lyhyesti sanottuna kyykkä on akateeminen mahtilaji, jossa kaksi joukkuetta kilpailevat toisiaan vastaan. Tarkoituksena on kaataa kartun avulla kyykkiä ja näin kerätä mahdollisimman paljon pisteitä. Lisätietoa kyykän säännöistä osoitteesta: http://www.kyykka.fi

Voit ottaa tapahtumaan mukaan oman kestokuppisi tai termosmukin, josta juoda kuumaa mehua. Lisäksi suosituksena ottaa oma vesipullo mukaan, sillä lähettyvillä ei ole vesipistettä.

Tapahtuma on esteetön. Torilla ei ole suuria kynnyksiä ja torin laitamilta löytyy yleinen saavutettava WC.

The traditional Practice Kyykkä is back! Have your kyykkä skills got a bit rusty over the holidays? Have you never played kyykkä and want to give it a try? Or maybe you want to start practicing cheering for kyykkä teams with a warm drink in hand? Grab your team and friends for this joint practice session, especially with the Academic World Championships of Kyykkä just around the corner!

Though the weather has been chilly lately, we have got you covered with warm juice—not to mention sausages provided by Suomen Ekonomit. Players of all skill levels are more than welcome to come play and enjoy the games together with Boomi and Staabi, all you need to bring is a positive and relaxed sporting spirit! During the evening we are also going to see who will represent Iltakoulu at the World Championships in February.

Wait, what’s kyykkä?
In short, kyykkä is an academic power sport where two teams compete against each other. The goal is to knock over kyykkä blocks using a wooden club and score as many points as possible. For more information about the rules of kyykkä, visit: www.kyykka.fi

You can bring your own reusable cup or thermos for the hot juice. It’s also recommended to bring a water bottle, as there’s no water source nearby.

The event is accessible. The square has no major thresholds, and there is a public accessible toilet on the edges of the square.
